The hardest-working van in the fleet, the Transit long wheelbase (LWB) is particularly suitable for heavy-duty use. With a load length of 3,399 mm it has enough room for four Europallets end to end, and with a gross payload of up to 1,586 kg the vehicle is ideal for towing when ordered with rear-wheel drive (RWD).
All LWB Transit Vans are fitted with a 'Safeguard' passive anti-theft engine immobiliser, remote central double-locking with shielded, strengthened mountings, key-operated bonnet release and a lock-in-latch protection system – making them a safe business proposition in every respect. Also available is an all-wheel drive model and a powerful new 3.2-litre TDCi engine delivering 200 PS and a class-leading 470 Nm of torque.
